GenZ Workforce

There’s a new stream of talent hitting the workforce.  GenZ’ers are the new workforce.  But how do we reach them?   Firstly, we must try to understand them.  Secondly, we need to know how we can engage in meaningful discussions with them. For GenZ’ers, social media isn’t just a place to connect with friends and family.  It’s where their quality time is spent learning about what interests them.  And it is where they connect with the brands they enjoy. Moreover, GenZ’ers will be 30% of our workforce by 2025.

Unlike the generations that came before them, most GenZ’ers don’t remember a time before smartphones and social media. For GenZ, using social media to follow their interests and favorite brands is second nature.  According to ComScore data, over two-thirds of GenZ’ers surveyed are on Facebook and Instagram. Combined, these two apps rank third among top 10 digital destinations by time spent on mobile and desktop.
