Meet Heather Engler. Heather is next is our Spotlight Series-Recruiter I Perrysburg. Heather was born and raised in Fostoria, Ohio. After high school she played volleyball for two years for Terra State Community College. Then, transferring to the University of Findlay to finish her degree in Human Resources and Business. Heather has also earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. Heather joined the Cardinal family last year, in 2021.
That Southern Charm
Heather left Ohio in 2014 to pursue her teaching career in Louisville, KY for 5 ½ years. She was excited about the opportunity to work for Cardinal Staffing because, as she said, “I could put my HR hat on and help people achieve their success. We have the opportunity to change lives every day!”
The Personal Touch
Heather’s sense of humor and warm personality makes people feel comfortable, thus creating an immediate bond to her. She gives a warm personal touch to candidates and clients alike. Heather loves working in the Perrysburg office where, she says, “everyone sees the glass as half full instead of half empty.” And, if you happen to stop by this busy office, you might get lucky and catch her bursting into a song or telling a joke.

Travel, Fun & Family
Heather loves to travel and learn about other cultures. In 2012 she and her family traveled to Germany to visit her sister while she was studying abroad. Heather enjoyed visiting Germany, France and the Netherlands and hopes to return and to travel more in the future. One of her favorite past times is to curl up on the sofa and read a good book.
