It’s a fact, that being over-stressed long term has damaging effects to our lives.  So finding ways to destress is crucial. These techniques will tap on critical points in you body.  As well as using verbal affirmations to reduce any negative emotions. EFTs also decrease stress and anxiety.  Yoga and breathing exercises are also part of this process. There are many variations of EFT that can be tailored for specific needs. Such as, those with PTSD or an anxiety disorder diagnosis from a doctor, like Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD).  Remember that destressing your life should be part of your daily routine.  There are many reasons to exercise regularly, and above all, it helps to keep you healthy and less-stressed.

When destressing your life, remember to ease into any new routines or stress management tools.  Don’t overschedule yourself or start too many activities at once.  At first just select one or two things to accomplish daily.  Be sure to begin with a shorter amount of time to finish your routine.  That way it will be easier to commit to completing these tasks daily.  See what works with your lifestyle.   Starting with too much activity, could set you back and leave you feeling guilty, and more stressed.
