Faces of Cardinal Staffing

Everyone knows all good things come in threes and today, I would like to introduce you to just one of the Three Faces of Cardinal Staffing Services.

Rhonda Clemons, Senior Vice President of Sales rclemons@cardinalstaffing.com, has been with Cardinal Staffing Services 19 of her 34 years in the staffing industry.  During her tenure in the staffing industry, Rhonda has taken on a variety of roles from working with Workers’ Compensation, Recruiting and as a Branch Manager.  However, Rhonda’s true passion has always been in Sales.  Excelling year after year in different sales roles has helped client companies achieve their staffing needs.  Being asked about her stellar career Rhonda simply stated, “I have truly enjoyed all of my different job functions, however my passion is in sales and that is where I have spent the majority of my career.”

Working Through Changes Like most industries, the Staffing Industry has gone through evolutionary changes over the years and has had to be flexible to adapt to the ever-changing workplace.  Rhonda remembered the Recession of 2008 “where many companies were forced to lay off their full-time employees and few companies were utilizing staffing agencies, so the staffing industry had an abundance of employees and fewer active clients. However, as businesses started to pick up again, many companies opted to work with staffing agencies due to the uncertainty of how long they would be able to keep production running.”

And as a result…..

Flexible workforces through Staffing Agencies took hold.  A workforce that would expand and decrease production as industries began to find stable ground after the recession.  Rhonda knew, “Working with each valued client during that difficult time allowed us to be much more than a staffing vendor, we became a valued staffing partner to our clients.  Still today, our client partnerships continue to grow in strength.”

Pandemic in The U.S.  Who would have thought 2 years ago the world would face such a dramatic event?  We had to shift and change everything we thought we could achieve not only in our personal space but in every aspect of life. Companies big and small now looking to fill vital positions are facing a different workplace and a different workforce than ever before.

Fast forward to 2022 and the entire country is experiencing a labor shortage.  As a result, many companies are offering higher wages and a more creative benefit package to retain employees.   Rhonda’s lifetime of preparedness in the staffing arena has helped guide and support industries to find much needed staff for our valued clients’ businesses not just today but for tomorrow as well.
